11/23/09 What an amazing weekend with Thomas Ritter. Our clinic was better than ever for all
riders. We couldn't be more proud of our students who did so well, and learned so much! Ben
and Andrea found a great connection, with Thomas' help Ben started to developing a much
more uphill carriage, and was absolutely amazing, they even had a few steps of Piaffe!
Needless to say we cannot wait until he returns in the spring!
10/25/09 Congratulations are in order for Kailey Gehl, and the Gehl Family who are now the
new owners of Sunnie. Sunnie and Kailey have a bright future in Dressage ahead of them and
we are quite excited to see them grow together! Pictures of the two of them coming soon!
10/4/09- A busy summer has made it hard to find time to update our website. We have had a
very successful show season with our riders representing themselves and their horses
extremely well. We are happy to see that everyone's hard work and dedication really shines
when we are out and about in the horse community, and are extremely happy that our riders
have great sportsmanship and are wonderful examples of fine horsepeople. We still have a
couple more shows to finish out the year and another clinic with Dr. Thomas Ritter, which is
always something to look forward to! Please check back for more news, hopefully we will be
able to post about our riders and horses more often! Below are some pictures from the 2009 show
season!
6/27/09- What a great day for our riders at the Sizzlin Summer show in Marysville, AGAIN!
Kailey and Bullseye made their debut together and cleaned up with a 1st in showmanship, 3rd
in Walk/Trot Hunter Under Saddle, 2nd in W/T/C Hunter Under Saddle, and a 1st in
Equitation. Ben and Nugget did great with a 4th in Showmanship and a 5th out of 13! In the
Walk/Trot Hunter Under Saddle. Tommy was his wonderful self as usual! Kristin was very
close to placing a very large Walk/Trot class, and Lori did extremely well placing 4th in both
Western Pleasure classes, and a 1st in Horsemanship. Good Job everyone! Pictures coming soon!
6/20/09- Congratulations to Maddie and Crunch N Munch Bar on qualifying for the Ohio State
Fair! They will be showing in Hunter Under Saddle, and Hunt Seat Equitation! We are very
proud and excited for you!
6/14/09- We had a very busy weekend! First of all Maddie and Munch, and Lori, Kristin and
Tommy all showed at the Sizzlin Summer Show in Marysville. Maddie did great, placing 4th
out of 21 riders in the 100 $ open walk/trot HUS, and 2nd in the 9-13 HUS! Tommy along with
Kristin and Lori received a 3rd and 2nd in showmanship, and a 4th in WP. Midas, Mambo and
Andrea spent the weekend in Delaware at the ODS Down Centerline Show. This was
Mambo's first USDF show, and he was marvelous earning two 66% with 2nd places in Training
Level Tests 1 & 2, and a 65% with 2nd place and ended the weekend with a 68.2% and 1st
place! Midas was the best he has ever been scoring a 66% and 63% and two 2nd places at 1st
Level Test 4, and an amazing 64.49% and 1st place at 2nd Level Test 1! We couldn't have asked
for a better weekend all around!
5/21/09- Welcome to Zelia! Zelia is a 3 year old PRE Andalusian filly that is here for her
undersaddle training. This girl is extremely athletic and beautiful. I am looking forward to
working with her. Thanks to Diana Nicklas for sending us this fabulous mare!
5/23/09- Congratulations to all our client's who showed at the Sizzlin Summer Circuit today.
We all endured a long, 13 hour day in the heat but it was well worth it. Maddie and Munch
made their debut together coming away with a 3rd in Hunter Under Saddle, and a 2nd in
Equitation. Munch was solid as ever, you have never guessed he hadn't been in a show in 4
years, and Maddie rode him beautifully, I am very proud of them and look forward to seeing
them grow together over the summer. Lori, Kristin and Tommy Dee were also extremely
successful. Lori and Tommy had 2nd in showmanship, Kristin and Tommy had a 3rd in
Showmanship. Lori also received two 4th places in Western Pleasure, and a 1st in
Horsemanship. Tommy is proving to be the perfect family horse for them, and we couldn't be
happier! I am so proud of all of you! Pictures coming soon.
